Privacy Policy
This policy covers the Havly waitlist on this website. It explains what we collect when you join, why, and the rights you have over your data. It does not cover the Havly app, which will have its own policy at launch.
Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is Astery Wojciech Rzemieniuk, a sole proprietorship registered in Poland (European Union). For any privacy request, contact: support@astery.dev.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist, we store only:
- your email address;
- a consent record — the date and time you joined and the version of the consent text you agreed to.
- which page you signed up from (e.g. this landing page), so we know where interest came from — never anything that identifies you.
We deliberately do not collect your IP address, your browser or device information, or any behavioural data. This site uses no cookies and no analytics of any kind. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, briefly processes your IP address to route and secure the connection, as any web host does; we never store it or link it to your email.
Why we use it (purpose)
Your email is used for one purpose only: to notify you about Havly's launch and early access. It is not used for a newsletter, marketing unrelated to launch, or profiling, and it is never sold or shared with third parties for their own purposes.
Legal basis
We process your email on the basis of your consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation). Submitting the waitlist form is the consent action. You can withdraw that consent at any time, and doing so is as easy as giving it.
Where your data is stored
Waitlist entries are stored in Cloudflare D1, a database service provided by Cloudflare. Cloudflare acts as our data processor under its Data Processing Addendum, which includes the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses for any transfer outside the European Economic Area. You can request a copy of these clauses from us at support@astery.dev, or view Cloudflare's data-processing terms at cloudflare.com/cloudflare-customer-dpa.
How long we keep it (retention)
We keep your email only until the launch notification sequence is complete, or until you withdraw consent — whichever comes first, and in any case no longer than 24 months. After that, it is deleted.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the data we hold about you;
- have it corrected if it is wrong;
- have it erased;
- withdraw your consent at any time;
- receive a copy of your data in a portable format (data portability);
- ask us to restrict processing while a request is being handled;
- lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Poland this is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, UODO), uodo.gov.pl.
How to withdraw or erase
Email support@astery.dev from the address you signed up with and ask us to remove you. We will delete your entry within 30 days and confirm when it's done.
No profiling, no automated decisions
We do not profile you and make no automated decisions about you. Joining the waitlist has no effect other than adding you to the launch notification list.
No cookies, no tracking
This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. There is nothing to consent to beyond the waitlist itself, and nothing following you after you leave.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the version number and effective date at the top. Material changes affecting how we use your email will be communicated to you by email before they take effect.
